Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) causes more than cervical cancer, and our physician guest knows this all too well…

Dr. Patrick Ha is the chief of Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at my alma mater, UCSF. I had the pleasure of meeting him at his office in the beautiful Mission Bay campus and he graciously donated some of his time and hard-earned wisdom to spread the word about HPV-related head and neck cancers. I learned a TON and I hope you will too. Watch the Facebook Live video and lend your voice in the comments, and SHARE please!

Thanks for the very interesting discussion! I realize your specialty is neck but what would you recommend to clear persistent cervical hpv cells? and treatment should they ever turn cancerous? finally, if currently cleared of hpv cells how do you explain safety to participate in oral sex? what if not cleared? Thanks!
