The FDA just approved direct-to-consumer genetic testing company 23andMe’s request to market genetic health risk reports for 10 diseases. I had the testing done a few years back before the FDA first pulled the plug…and I nearly lost my s**t when I got the results.

In this episode of #IncidentReport LIVE we talk about my experience with genetic testing and the nuances of interpreting the meaning of results without freaking out. We talk insurance issues, ancestry and family drama, and the continuing question of whether our genes equal our identity and our destiny.
