Food Babe. Gwyneth Paltrow. David “Avocado” Wolfe. The entire field of Chiropractic.

What do these all have in common? Each has gotten a massive, detoxifying truth enema from the one and only Yvette d’Entremont — AKA SciBabe.

A theater major, chemist, and forensic scientist, SciBabe runs a terrifically popular website and Facebook page where she professionally debunks bulls**t. On the REGULAR. Just so happens she was in Vegas to do a series of podcasts and she, of course, saved the best for last!

It turns out we nerds can TALK. And laugh. And sing. So it’s a long episode, but we dive into David Wolfe, alternative medicine, dimwitted internet trolls, GMOs, Splenda, and get up close and personal about her Ehlers-Danlos and Celiac Sprue diagnoses and how having chronic disease informs her skepticism about pseudoscience. Too bad you don’t care if deaf and hard of hearing people can’t enjoy it. No captioning, no access.

    • Dezisit

There is closed captioning on this video, Sharon.

      • Sharon Campbell

None that I could find. You better double check.

Watch the top video on this page. It has the cc button. It can also be watched on YouTube which also has the cc option button. The video further down the page is linked to FB and has no cc option. Hope that helps. 🙂

Thanks. For some reason, the first time I tried to watch it there were no captions. I wonder if it was a Chrome thing?

Unfortunately, the “captioning” available well, sucks. Try turning of fthe sound and watching it.
