The World’s Funniest Internist

Our staff here at ZDoggMD enterprises is often deluged with phone calls, emails, and other expressions of outrage from the public at large. Rarely, however, do we receive such an expression via brown paper package labeled, “Fragile: VHS Tape Inside.”

After spending 2 hours trying to shoe-horn this black monolith into my trusty Betamax VCR, I called Dr. Harry for tech support. Unfortunately, he had outsourced his home phone line to Sri Lanka, and after making an ill-advised joke about the Tamil Tigers, I was once again on my own.

Luckily, my Amish neighbors had a device powered by oxen that was able to play the message. Clocking in at 4 hours and 57 minutes, this response to our video Witch Doctor required some minor, barely noticeable edits. But I think everyone will agree that we may have discovered the world’s funniest internist.

Dr. Herman Peabody offers his rebuttal.

I'm a hospital physician and purveyor of fine medical satire. On staff at a large academic institution, I practice only evidence-based comedy; everything here is clinically proven to be slightly funnier than placebo.

I think he’s confirmed the stereotype here ZDogg. Terminally unfunny.

ZDogg, I think you’ve just redefined the humours theory of medicine: If you can’t find any humours, most likely an internal medicine person.
